Veterans Memorial State Park

Visit Veterans Memorial Park outside of Bluffdale, Utah and see the history of those who served and fell in the battlefield. The park offers an environment where all Americans can go to relive the history, and honor the patriots that made it possible for freedom to endure.
The location of the park
The park is situated on 30 acres just south of Bluffdale, Utah off of State Highway 68. The elevation sits at 4,500 feet above sea level and includes a nice area to rest and soak up the history.
The memorial
The park features a cemetery with over 4,000 graves of those that served and died during wartime or passed on after serving. The cemetery is also available for use by spouses and dependent children of those who qualify. The park provides funeral services through the on-site chapel. Through Memorial Day and Veteran's Day, the park is a popular spot for people with family and friends buried in the park, and those who wish to honor the heroes of the past. The park's Wall of Honor pays tribute to the fallen as well.
The museum
The park's main attraction is the museum dedicated to the history of the armed forces and the lives lost through service to that united cause. The museum features military memorabilia and an administrative section.
The Veterans Memorial State Park is open year round and free of admission. It has modern restrooms and clean drinking water. The park is a great place to take youngsters where they can learn the history as told through war memorabilia and see the tangible impact that war has made on each and every person's life.
