Scofield State Park

Enjoy exciting sport fishing and more at Scofiled State Park. Located 120 miles southeast of Salt Lake City, this park encompasses Scofield Reservoir and surrounding lands. Spend the weekend here, or use it as a base to explore the nearby mountainous terrain.
Camping
This park offers numerous overnight accommodations. Pop a tent or park the RV at one of two campgrounds. The Mountain View campground offers modern restrooms and hot showers. The Madsen Bay campground is located at the north end of the reservoir and offers larger spots for families and groups of campers.
Fishing
Scofield Reservoir is one of Utah's most productive fisheries. You can fish from the shore or from boat. Primary sport fish species are cutthroat, rainbow and tiger trout. The fishing season is open year round, and there are no special regulations on bait types. Ice fishing is very productive in the winter, and you are sure to bring home a great catch.
Other activities
The mountainous terrain surrounding the reservoir offer many other outdoor activities. Explore miles of trails on foot, ATV or snowmobile in the winter. There are also many big game hunting opportunities. Try your luck at bagging a mule deer, bighorn sheep, pronghorn or Rocky Mountain goat, but make sure to obtain the proper licenses first.
Scofield State Park offers diverse recreational activities for people of all ages. Use the reservoir as your base-station to access fishing, hunting, off-roading, camping and more. Fun activities are available all-year round, making it a popular destination for locals and visitors alike.
