Jordanelle State Park

Jordanelle State Park has something for every outdoor enthusiast. By far the best camping in the area, the park also offers water activities on the Jordanelle Reservoir, as well as family friendly hiking and sightseeing.
Excellent camping destination
Jordanelle has two unique camping venues that offer very different experiences. The Hailstone recreation area is located on the west central bank of the reservoir. With boat accessibility and RV park sites with water and electrical hook-ups, you can enjoy a water filled day trip or an evening under the stars with friends for a minimal charge. This area of the park is groomed and maintained, making your comfort and safety a priority. On the southeast tip of the reservoir, you can find Rock Cliff recreation area. Rock Cliff is a less trafficked space and preserves the most natural state of the delicate environment. You can find a nature center with fascinating plant and animal exhibits, as well as historical information and interesting facts. The nature center connects with interpretive trails by wide, elevated boardwalks. The camping in Rock Cliff offers an intimate, relaxing experience.
Venues and activities
The Jordanelle Event Center at the main entrance to the park is the perfect setting for weddings or parties. With a sweeping view of the clear blue reservoir and distant Mount Timpanogos, the open air and natural beauty adds charm and elegance to your event. The park itself is always active with festivals, outdoor competitions, open markets and more. If you prefer your own activities, then the park offers excellent trout, bass and perch fishing. The clean water of the reservoir is perfect for boating and swimming, while the scenic hiking trails are limitless.
