Hyrum State Park

At Hyrum State Park the living is easy. Campers are sunbathing on a grassy lawn, kids are splashing in the shallows and boaters are taking advantage of the expansive reservoir. Out on the water, fishermen are casting their lines and reeling in the catch of the day.

A world of water

When the summer heat is at its peak, one need look no further than the cool and refreshing reservoir at Hyrum State Park. For those who would rather stay on dry land, there are many shady spots to recline with an icy drink and a good book. Kids love to swim, and this is a great way to get them outdoors and off the couch!

Convenient amenities

Whatever one's reason for visiting the park, camping in comfort is guaranteed, as sites have recently been added with power and water hookups. People concerned about high temperatures can reserve a new climate-controlled cabin that houses up to eight people. Another new feature providing peace of mind is the option to protect RVs and boats by purchasing a secure storage lot. When visiting Hyrum State Park, one can enjoy the freedom of the great outdoors without sacrificing convenience or safety because the park is located within the town of Hyrum; running out of supplies or simply picking up a pint of ice cream requires just a short trip to the nearest shop, then one can get right back to fishing.

Special memories are created when the family spends the weekend at Hyrum State Park. The angler in the family can bring home photographs of all the rainbow trout, bluegill and yellow perch they hooked.
