Huntington State Park

Experience all that Utah's nature has to offer at Huntington State Park. This park is located about two miles from the city of Huntington and is one of the most modern campgrounds in the area. It is found on the banks of a beautiful reservoir and offers guests a host of amenities along with beautiful scenery.
The reservoir
The small reservoir is considered a beautiful oasis in the middle of desert land. Boating is allowed on the reservoir and there is also some fishing, offering the chance to land prized specimens such as trout and largemouth bass, plus bluegill and catfish. Ice fishing is possible during the colder months of the year and is a popular attraction among locals.
Water sports
Water sports are now included in the permissible reservoir activities. The opportunity for water-skiing and jet-skiing provides an exciting diversion, especially for younger visitors.
Camping at Huntington State Park
This facility offers 22 campsites. Some are back-in sites and others are pull-through spaces, but none are equipped with electricity or water hookups. There is also a group camping area for larger crowds. Campers have access to a number of amenities, including picnic areas, showers and modern restrooms. They can also enjoy the boat launch and other water-related activities during their stay.
