Utah parks

Utah is a state that is notorious for many natural wonders such as Moab and the natural land bridges. However, Bear Lake State Park is famous for its beautiful and welcoming water. This lake is often referred to as the Caribbean of the Rockies because of its turquoise colored water. The color is due to limestone deposits that are in the lake reflecting the light of the sun.

Water activities

The park accommodates every water activity possible with its several beaches and marinas. Kayaking, sailing, swimming, jet skiing, and swimming are just a few of the water activities that are encouraged at this oasis. Camping along the shore is a favorite activity of many of the visitors.

Year round activities

Summer is not the only time of the year to enjoy Bear Lake State Park. The mountainous region is a playground during the winter. Snowmobiling and skiing at the nearby resort is just as rewarding as the summer activities. This park is loaded with amenities that make it welcome to visitors year round.

Utah might is not well known for its water destinations, but this does not mean they do not exist. This parks lake is beautiful, inviting, and open for use any season or time of the year. It is one place that you certainly need to put on your bucket list.
